Primo piano serie 8 : Serie armadi, 1466-1922.

This is an important retrospective intercollation of various account and inventory books. The first account book starts at 1513. There are many separate accounts for particular projects. There are records of payments to particular workers. The series includes books by foremen as well as from central accounting offices. Essentially this series provides a financial history of the building and maintenance of the basilica, commissions for decoration of the basilica, or contracts for such work on other churches. This has been the most consulted series in the Fabbrica Archives.
